Kisty of the awesome Kisty Kreme is our very first featured blogger!
An I.T. Senior from UA&P, Kisty never fails to amaze us with her fun and hip fashion sense. This young fashionista is also a talented photographer and freelances at Manila Street Style as a fashion/event photog.
Sweet and bubbly, this girl was pure F-U-N! She charmed us during Fabric Philippines x TPGS: Summer Launch, wherein she was kind enough to join us as one of the brand's muses. Here's a brief interview about her inspiration & style, as well as her message to aspiring bloggers!
What inspired you to start your own blog? Tell us something about your blog :)
I've been blogging since I was 13, moving from one platform to the other. At first, my blog serves an online diary. Now, it's a mix of things that inspire me, fashion, photography and so on.
Who are your style icons?
No one in particular. I think my style icon changes every single time. Haha.
What are your daily blog reads?
Fashion Toast, What I Wore, Break My Style, Fashion Ate The World are some.
You're blog features awesome photos, where do you get your photo inspirations?
Thank you but I get my inspiration from everywhere! From magazines, to blogs, to people I've met, and so on.
Do you have any cherished vintage/retro items?
I have a polaroid camera that I ordered online. The item was legit vintage because it's second hand and the seller told me that his 10-year old son used to use it for his school projects. Other than that, I can't remember. Haha.
Do you have any advice to those who want to start a blog?
Just be yourself and be strong whenever there are people who will criticize you and your blog.
Also, don't forget to pick a nice theme for your blog; comment on other people's blog for exposure; and post quality content because it helps you attract visitors.
What are your favorite The Pinup Girl Store picks?
Aside from the one I wore? I love the Zooey skirt and the Minnie top! :)
